Job Role: We are seeking aData Qualityto ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency of data across ETL processes, data warehouses, and pipelines. The role involves identifying and resolving quality issues, supporting new product introductions, and maintaining robust data standards that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate will develop and implement best practices for defect prevention, manage customer-specific requirements, and provide technical support. This role requires working independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with the team to uphold high-quality standards.Key Responsibilities: Design and execute ETL test plans and cases, including automated scripts. Validate data transformations and loading processes, utilizing automation where possible. Identify and document data discrepancies and errors, automating error detection. Perform data quality profiling and analysis, employing automated data quality checks. Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and automate data validation processes. Test database stored procedures and functions, creating automated test suites. Document test results and create detailed reports, automating report generation. Track and manage defects using bug tracking tools and automate defect reporting. Collaborate with developers and analysts to resolve data issues and contribute to automated testing frameworks. Ensure data compliance with business rules and standards, implementing automated compliance checks.Required Skills: 5+years of experience in data quality and ETL testing. Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing principles, and database systems. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/ SQL Server, Snowflake). Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory). Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Familiarity with data quality tools and techniques. Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps). Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
