Responsibilities

  • Work closely with a team of developers to design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements for existing applications
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality of the codebase
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Assist with debugging and troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Participate in the reporting, planning and estimation of development tasks
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in web technologies and frameworks
  • Understanding 3rd party API and integration
  • Troubleshooting and fixing any issues in the system
  • Suggesting and implementing new features to improve the system
  • Identifying and implementing space and time-efficient data structures to optimize performance.


Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in web development
  • Experience with PHP and the Laravel framework
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and MVC design patterns
  • Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with unit testing and/or test-driven development (TDD)
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Experience with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud services
  • Experience with Docker or other containerization technologies
  • Experience with Linux and shell scripting
