Role-MSSQL Admin Experience-6 years to 8 Years Location-Mumbai(Jogeshwari) Weekday Virtual Drive 5-Dec-25• Database Monitoring: Perform 24 X 7 monitoring of all the critical parameters for the database such as: ü Table space, segment ü Availability of background processes ü Buffer cache utilization ü Redo log contention ü Resource intensive queries through AWR reports ü Fragmentation of table spaces, tables and indexes ü Perform maintenance activities like index maintenance as per the SUN PHARMA’s policy provided during transition- ü Memory, I/O, CPU utilization for the RDBMSs ü Disk free space ü Alert logs for errors ü Database backup Logs ü Unsuccessful logins • Monitor system performance and provide performance data to SUN PHARMA • Create, modify, and delete database and database objects • Create, modify, and delete users and properties • Create, modify, and delete jobs • Perform periodic database performance tuning as per the documented procedures • Perform periodic housekeeping of Database • Perform maintenance activities like index maintenance as per the SUN PHARMA’s policy provided during transition. • Perform orderly start-up and shutdown of database services. • Restore databases in the event of a server crash • Add, modify, and delete permissions to database objects and troubleshoot user logins • Rectify database configuration problems • Perform regular defragmentation activities for better space management and performance Grant and revoke database access to users as per Sun Pharma provided guidelines • Participation in DR drill • Housekeeping on DR server- cleaning up of Archive logs and Alert logs/transaction logs • Re-build DR in case of crash • Submission of monthly database incident reports as per mutually agreed schedule • Daily, weekly and monthly checklist of all Oracle DB’s • Administration of Oracle databases, RAC ü Creation of Development, Product and UAT database Environment. ü Configuration of Database parameters ü Database User management (Creation, modification, deletion, Permission etc) ü Performance Tuning of Production databases • Installation of Oracle Database Server • Installation and troubleshooting issues for Oracle Client • Installation of DB patches • Co-ordination application and development teams at SUN Pharma in case of issues • Co-ordination with Oracle Support team to resolve issues related to Oracle database server • Hardening of Oracle DB - Hardening of oracle Database server • Oracle DB backup and restoration. • Oracle scripts to automate Oracle DBA related task and activities wherever possible • Daily monitoring and checking of all SQL databases • Creation of database • Configuration of Database parameters • Users, tables, SQL Jobs creation • Troubleshooting of SQL Database server related issues • Performance tuning of SQL production database • Hardening of SQL databases • Backup and Restoration of SQL databases • Microsoft SQL cluster support • Configuration of Microsoft Cluster • Monitoring of SQL Cluster • Troubleshooting of SQL Cluster • Installation and configuration of SQL database as per requirements
