Job Title: Social Media Copywriter


Job Overview:

We're on the lookout for a Social Media Copywriter who can craft compelling narratives tailored for platforms like Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and WhatsApp, capturing the attention of the right audiences. If you’re someone who keeps up with the latest trends, viral moments, social media slang, and platform features—this is your playground. You’ll work closely with our social and creative team to develop copy that resonates, engages, and stands out across all platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, engaging, and scroll-stopping for social media posts, ads, campaigns, videos, and other digital content.
  • Tell stories that resonate with mastery in short form content: Simplify complex health concepts through relatable, playful and creative storytelling that connects with our audience across platforms
  • Develop impactful campaigns: Work with the social and creative team to ideate and execute social media campaigns that spark conversation and build brand trust.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest platform features (Instagram, IG Threads, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) and leverage tools for content optimisation.
  • Spot trends, memes, and cultural moments to craft reactive, timely, and on-brand content.
  • Collaborate with designers and social media managers to bring creative ideas to life.
  • Adapt messaging for different platforms while maintaining a cohesive brand voice.
  • Research audience insights and competitor strategies to ensure your copy is fresh, engaging, and relevant.


Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of copywriting experience in a food industry or agency is preferred.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to craft platform-specific, engaging, and results-driven content and creative flair (even passion projects or side hustles count).
  • Excellent command of English with a love for words and wit.
  • Familiarity with social media trends, memes, platform features, and emerging digital tools.
  • Ability to adapt tone and style for different brands, campaigns, and audiences.
  • A quick thinker with a passion for reactive content and staying ahead of the cultural curve.

  • Exceptional copywriting and creative thinking skills
  • Strong grasp of humor and wordplay
  • Social media savviness and trend-spotting abilities
  • Platform knowledge (Instagram, IG Threads, YouTube, , etc.)
  • Collaboration and brainstorming skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver sharp, impactful content
