Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of experience to manage, maintain, and support our critical PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MSSQL database systems.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of our databases, implementing robust backup and recovery strategies, and proactively resolving performance issues.

This role requires a deep understanding of database architecture, query optimization, and replication technologies across multiple database Responsibilities Management & Maintenance :

- Manage, maintain, and support PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MSSQL database systems throughout their lifecycle.

- Ensure the high availability, reliability, and performance of all production and non-production databases.

- Perform regular database health checks, monitoring, and proactive maintenance Optimization :

- Analyze database performance bottlenecks and implement effective query optimization and performance tuning strategies.

- Work closely with development teams to optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.

- Configure and manage database parameters for optimal & Compliance :

- Implement and enforce SQL Server security policies, user access controls, and data encryption.

- Ensure database systems comply with industry best practices and internal security standards.

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability & Recovery :

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive backup and recovery strategies for all database platforms.

- Regularly test backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and recoverability.

- Perform database restores and point-in-time recoveries as & Troubleshooting :

- Monitor database health, capacity, and resource utilization using appropriate tools.

- Proactively identify and resolve database performance issues, deadlocks, and other operational problems.

- Configure and manage database replication (e.g., PostgreSQL streaming replication, MySQL replication, SQL Server AlwaysOn Availability & Support :

- Provide expert-level support for database-related incidents, problems, and requests.

- Participate in on-call rotation for critical production support as & Best Practices :

- Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

- Stay updated with the latest database technologies, trends, and best practices.

- Recommend and implement improvements to database infrastructure and : Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator with strong expertise in PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Skills :

- Proven experience in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting large-scale production databases.

- In-depth knowledge of database architecture, design, and data modeling.

- Expertise in SQL query optimization, performance tuning, and indexing strategies.

- Strong understanding of database security principles and implementation.

- Experience with database backup and recovery methodologies.

- Proficiency in configuring and managing database replication across different platforms.

- Familiarity with database monitoring tools and Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and other stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
