Job Description:

DHCO India, a law firm in Nagpur specializing in Tax & Commercial Litigation, is seeking a tax associate to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for handling Tax and commercial litigation matters.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Represent clients before tax authorities and appellate forums.
  • Represent clients before the High Court & and lower courts in commercial & Tax Law matters.
  • Handle scrutiny assessment and appeals related to direct and indirect taxes.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare opinions on various laws.
  • Liaise with the tax department and other relevant authorities on behalf of clients.
  • Handle arbitration proceedings before the MSME Facilitation Council
  • Maintain and update records of litigation matters.


Requirements:

• Experience in tax and commercial litigation and related matters.

• Sound knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Prior Taxation work experience is necessary for this job.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law.
  • Chartered Accountants
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in tax & and commercial litigation and related matters.
