a Chief Of Staff for our portfolio company - GradRightAbout the role:The Chief of Staff will act as an execution partner, project manager, and strategic facilitator for the CEO. The role involves ensuring that business leaders deliver on agreed initiatives, that meetings and decisions are well-prepared and followed up, and that the CEOs time and energy are used most effectively. This is a high-trust, high-impact position at the intersection of strategy, execution, and leadership enablement, designed for someone who thrives in dynamic startup environmentsCore Governance & Alignment- 1. Track and ensure progress on key decisions, strategic projects, and commitments made by business managers and function heads to the CEO- 2. Establish and maintain a structured review rhythm (weekly/biweekly syncs) with each vertical to monitor execution against plans and milestones- 3. Identify bottlenecks, surface risks early, and ensure accountability for timely completion of actions.CEO Office Operations & Meeting Enablement- 1. Prepare for CEO interactions with business leads by ensuring they are briefed, have context from previous discussions, and are equipped with required data and reports- 2. Manage CEOs internal and external meeting calendar strategically-prioritizing meetings aligned with core business goals- 3. Ensure that supporting materials (presentations, pitch decks, performance summaries) are ready and of high quality for each meeting- 4. Follow up on action items post-meetings and ensure consistent execution tracking.Stakeholder Coordination & Communication- 1. Act as a bridge between the CEO and internal teams, ensuring communication is timely, precise, and aligned with company priorities- 2. Coordinate CEOs engagement with external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and advisors- 3. Inform relevant stakeholders promptly of any changes in the CEOs schedule or priorities- 4. Coach or guide stakeholders (internal/external) on how best to prepare for meetings with the CEOStrategic Partnering & Priority Management- 1. Help the CEO and business leads to stay focused on strategic priorities, preventing over-involvement in lower-impact areas- 2. Serve as a sounding board and partner in decision-makingsynthesizing data, preparing briefing notes, and contributing to cross-functional discussions.- 3. When delegated, represent the CEO in meetings, capturing key insights and ensuring follow-ups are executed as agreed follow-ups are executed as agreedQualifications, Skills and Experience:- 1. 3-4 years experience in early stage companies or management consulting- 2. Solid organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.- 3. Good written and verbal communication skills for crisp internal and external interactions.- 4. High emotional intelligence and discretion: capable of working with sensitive information and diverse teams- 5. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and project management tools like Asana or Notion- 6.
