Central Data Office – Data Architect Role Summary Our client’sCentral Data Office (CDO)aims to build enterprise data sets and treat data as a strategic asset to maximize business value. TheData Architectwill collaborate with data architects, SMEs, engineers, and developers to design and govern enterprise-level data architectures, ensuring alignment with corporate data principles and standards. This position reports to the Data Architect Manager. Key Responsibilities Design and maintainconceptual and logical data modelsaligned with enterprise data strategy. Partner withdata governance teamsto develop and maintainbusiness glossaries, data dictionaries, and catalogs . Define and implementdata management strategies , includingmaster/reference dataframeworks. Ensure data solutions meet requirements forsecurity, access, and classification . Consult on projects to ensure compliance withenterprise data architecture principles . Collaborate with business and IT teams to support data needs and improve business processes. Providetechnical guidance and mentoringto data professionals and project teams. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s inComputer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field . 3+ yearsindata design/architecturewith strong understanding ofdata modeling(conceptual, logical, physical). Hands-on experience withSQL Server ,E/R Studio ,data profiling , anddata quality analysis . Knowledge ofdata governanceandMDM (Master Data Management)concepts. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills; experience working inagile teams . Self-starter, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Experience withMDM tools(Precisely EnterWorks) anddata catalog tools(Collibra). Knowledge ofdata warehouse, data lake, and data hubarchitectures. Familiarity withXML, JSON, Python , andAPI integration concepts . Understanding ofTOGAFandDAMA DMBoK v2frameworks. Exposure toSAP / HANAand related data extraction tools.
