About the RoleWe’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented E-commerce Content Writer to develop compelling, accurate, and SEO-friendly content for our website and online marketplaces. This role is key to ensuring our product and brand stories convert visitors into buyers. Candidates with the ability to write fluently in both English and Arabic will be given priority.Key Responsibilities1. Product Content CreationWrite clear, engaging, and persuasive product descriptions, titles, and bullet points for website and marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, etc.).Create SEO-optimised copy including keywords, meta tags, and alt text.Ensure accuracy of product specs, pricing, and benefits.Write and adapt product content in Arabic when required.2. Brand Storytelling & Creative CopyDevelop landing page, blog, and campaign copy that aligns with brand tone and positioning.Support marketing campaigns (social, email, paid ads) with creative copy.Craft headlines, banners, taglines, and CTAs that drive conversions.Deliver bilingual (English + Arabic) creative copy for regional markets.3. Content Planning & OptimisationResearch competitor content and marketplace trends to identify opportunities.Collaborate with SEO/Performance Marketing to refine keyword strategies.Regularly update and refresh product content based on performance data and reviews.Conduct keyword research in both English and Arabic when applicable.4. Cross-team CollaborationWork closely with design, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging.Coordinate with photographers/videographers to ensure imagery matches content.Work with regional teams to ensure Arabic content aligns with cultural and linguistic standards.5. Compliance & Quality AssuranceAdhere to brand guidelines, grammar, and style standards.Ensure all content meets legal and platform compliance requirements.Maintain high language accuracy in both English and Arabic.Key KPIs / MetricsContent accuracy & on-time deliveryOrganic search rankings and trafficConversion rate improvement on updated pagesMarketplace content score (A+ Content, Brand Store metrics)Bounce rate / engagement metricsQualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.1–4 years of experience in content writing for e-commerce / digital marketing.Excellent command of English (grammar, spelling, style).Strong proficiency in written Arabic (mandatory/preferred—your choice).Knowledge of SEO best practices and keyword research tools.Familiarity with CMS, Shopify, Magento, or marketplace content upload systems.Ability to write both short-form and long-form content with attention to detail.PreferredExperience with A+ Content, Brand Stores, and e-commerce copywriting.Understanding of performance metrics and CRO.Exposure to product photography/video workflows.Experience writing Arabic content for GCC markets is an added advantage.
