What are we looking:

We are seeking a skilled Lead Software Engineer with strong expertise in Python and Java with 5-8 years of experience to lead the design, development, and deployment of robust software systems, with a focus on building REST APIs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should have hands-on exposure to databases such as Solr to support enterprise data integration.
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI (GenAI) is a plus, enabling contributions to AI-driven features.
  • The role involves leading a team, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Java - Hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying REST APIs in production environments.
  • Exposure to databases like Solr (for search and indexing) and Delta (Delta Lake for data lake management), with practical experience in querying.
  • Experience leading software development projects and mentoring team members.
  • Experience with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with ML/GenAI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face) or integrating AI models into applications.
