Full-Time | Remote (India-Based)Industry: Glass, Glazing, Architectural Glass, Glass FabricationJob SummaryWe are hiring a highly experienced Glass Industry Estimator who can independently manage the full estimation cycle—from reviewing drawings to delivering final proposals. This role requires someone who fully owns the process, communicates confidently with clients, and delivers accurate estimates with no supervision or training.Key Responsibilities- Review and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and client specifications - Prepare detailed estimates for glass, glazing, storefront, curtain wall, partitions, and related systems - Communicate directly with clients for clarifications, follow-ups, and proposal discussions - Prepare and send formal estimate proposals and revisions - Perform quantity take-offs, calculate material/labor costs, and identify cost-saving options - Maintain accurate records of estimates, proposals, and client communications - Manage all responsibilities independently with full accountabilityRequired Experience & Skills- Mandatory: Hands-on experience preparing estimates in the glass or glazing industry (minimum 2+ years) - Ability to read, understand, and analyze architectural drawings - Strong verbal communication with a neutral/clear accent - Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop for quote creation and job costing - Proven ability to handle client communication (calls, follow-ups, clarifications) - Strong initiative—able to work with zero training or supervision - Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and organized - Ability to manage entire estimation workflow from start to finishGood to Have- Experience with glass fabrication, aluminum systems, or fenestration - Experience preparing estimates for U.S.-based clients (preferred) - Familiarity with AutoCAD or take-off software (nice bonus)
