Sales Trainer

The Sales Trainer will be responsible for equipping sales teams with the necessary skills and knowledge to sell the company’s products effectively. The role involves both off-the-job (classroom and online training) and on-the-job (live sales support and shadowing) training approaches. The Sales Trainer will design, deliver, and assess training programs aimed at improving the sales team’s product knowledge, selling techniques, and overall performance.
Key Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a sales training role in a product-based company.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B or B2C environment.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a sales team.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, including consultative selling, objection handling, and closing strategies.
- Deep product knowledge (or the ability to quickly learn and adapt) in product based IT company.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and feedback-giving skills.
- Proficiency in training tools and platforms (e.g., LMS, Microsoft Office, Zoom, etc.).
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
Certifications:
- Sales certification (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Leader, Sandler Training, etc.) is a plus.
