SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

Design and Development :


- Creating integration solutions using SAP CPI, including developing and configuring integration flows (iFlows).

Requirement Gathering :


- Working with business analysts and stakeholders to understand integration needs and translating these into technical specifications.

System Integration :


- Implementing and configuring integrations between various SAP and non-SAP systems, leveraging different integration patterns and adapters.

Testing and Deployment :


- Performing functional and integration testing to ensure the solutions meet business requirements, and deploying the developed solutions.

Monitoring and Support :


- Monitoring integration processes to ensure seamless data flow, troubleshooting issues, and providing ongoing support and maintenance.

Documentation :


- Creating and maintaining technical documentation for integration solutions, including design specifications, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.

Staying Updated :


- Keeping abreast of the latest SAP CPI features, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

SAP CPI Expertise :


- In-depth knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform Integration, including its architecture, capabilities, and various integration patterns.

Integration Technologies :


- Strong understanding of integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, IDOC, and others.

Data Transformation :


- Experience with data mapping, transformation, and conversion using tools like Groovy scripting, XML, XSLT, and JSON.

Problem-Solving :


- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.

Communication Skills :


- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.

SAP Knowledge :


- Familiarity with SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA) and their integration points.

Scripting :


- Experience with scripting languages like Groovy for custom development and message transformations within iFlows.

Testing :


- Experience with testing tools like SOAPUI, Postman, and familiarity with unit testing and integration testing methodologies.

Security :


- Understanding of security protocols and artifacts like OAuth, certificates, and encryption mechanisms.
