Job Title : C++ Engineer with Networking SkillsExperience : 3 to 8 yearsAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled C++ Engineer with Networking expertise to design, develop, and test high-performance applications, with a focus on networking and Web API features. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in C++, hands-on experience with networking protocols, and exposure to automated testing for large-scale systems.Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain test code in C++ for various Network Library features in PlayStation.- Automate testing processes using scripting languages or automation tools.- Perform regression QA for Networking and Web API-related areas.- Debug, optimize, and enhance test frameworks and libraries.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify issues, provide solutions, and ensure system stability.- Review existing Python-based test suites to understand current automation frameworks.- Document code, test plans, and QA processes for future scalability.Mandatory Skills :- Strong proficiency in C++ programming (including debugging and optimization).- Experience with Networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, Sockets).- Exposure to Web APIs (RESTful APIs, JSON, XML).- Hands-on experience in developing test code and automation frameworks.- Basic knowledge of Python for referencing existing test suites.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Good to Have Skills :- Experience in PlayStation or Gaming Console environments.- Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Robot Framework, or custom frameworks).- Understanding of OS-level networking (Linux/Windows).- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.Educational Qualification :- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
