Job Goals:

Proficient in process engineering, design calculations, thermal design & Hydraulics calculation for Water steam cycle and Balance of Plants, Performance calculation/optimization.


Main responsibilities:

  • Engineering management & execution, tendering and project development of power/process projects.
  • Well versed with all applicable domestic/international codes, regulations etc., as well as industry design standards & client requirements or in other words, design control of mechanical system engineering.
  • Review of Engineering documents and procedures viz. process flow diagrams, plant operation and Control Concept, P&ID, IO list, Instrument list, valve list, BOQ (bill of quantity/material), Prepare & review Process Calculation Reports, GA drawing, Equipment arrangement drawing, KKS numbering etc.
  • Equipment, Valves and Piping Design pressure and temperature calculations, PFD and P & IDs preparation and review.
  • For detailed engineering activities such as Project conceptualization, Process improvement and enhancement, Power plant cycle, Project Risk & identification, and mitigation.
  • Preparation of Technical specification, Vendor offer evaluation & recommendation, Exchange of information with concern departments/clients, Approval of vendors drawings, Selection of Equipment as per design and specs, Co-ordination Between customer & vendor of main Power plant block and BOP (Balance of plant).
  • Coordination with the concerned engineering team/agency to review and finalize the design/pressure parts engineering and drawings of the complete boiler.
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, 3D, Navisworks software is mandatory.
  • To manage a team of designers and draftsmen to get the work done and releasing the drawings in time.
  • Close collaboration with parent company engineers on review of all drawings, updating of drawings/documents and effective communication on progress of jobs.
  • To coordinate and incorporate the feedback from Project Manager, Client’s Engineers, Sub-contractor, Fabricators, etc. and to address the issues promptly with the support of peers.
  • To coordinate with all concerned to effectively resolve the fouling/overlap issues between Pressure parts and Piping, etc. and to complete the As-Built drawings as applicable.


Requirements:

  • Qualification: - B.E. Mechanical
  • Experience: - Min. 12-15 years in Boiler industry
  • Location: - Noida (Delhi NCR)
  • Languages - English, Hindi
