We are a leading Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) chain operating nationwide, committed to delivering high-quality food and excellent customer service. As part of our Supply Chain Department, we are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager of Procurement to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a background in procurement within the QSR, retail, or FMCG industries, with expertise in category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.


Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy: Procure raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM) such as poultry, dairy, oil, and packaging materials. Manage inflation rates according to forecasted trends and market conditions.

Supplier Management: Ensure best negotiation practices are followed to achieve optimal pricing and terms. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing vendors. Introduce new vendors for key categories like poultry, packaging, dairy, and oil. Develop a robust supplier base to ensure business continuity.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all supplies meet agreed-upon quality parameters and standards. Monitor and address any issues related to product quality or compliance.

Strategic Initiatives: Forecast abnormal spikes in inflation and identify opportunities for cost savings. Implement category management and strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • years of experience in procurement within the QSR, retail, or FMCG industries.
  • in SAP and master data management.
  • with the complete procure-to-pay (P2P) cycle and procurement compliance.
  • to robotic process automation (RPA), e-sourcing tools, and cataloging tools.
  • knowledge of spend analytics, taxation, contract management, food safety, and product costing.
