Position: Senior MERN Stack Developer Experience: 6–8 Years Location: Bhubaneswar / Hybrid / Remote (as per company policy) Employment Type: Full-TimeAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior MERN Stack Developer with deep expertise across MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, along with basic Java knowledge to support cross-platform integrations. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in designing scalable architectures, leading modules, and delivering high-performance web applications.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end development of complex, scalable applications using MERN Stack.Architect backend APIs, microservices, and database structures.Develop high-quality UI components with React.js, ensuring performance and responsiveness.Optimize server-side logic, manage API integrations, and handle advanced Node.js backend tasks.Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.Integrate and maintain modules requiring basic Java knowledge (legacy systems or API bridges).Implement security best practices, authentication systems, and performance improvements.Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams for smooth project delivery.Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems and applications.Contribute to technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and sprint planning.Required Technical SkillsStrong hands-on experience in MERN Stack:MongoDB (schema design, aggregation pipelines, indexing, sharding is a plus)Express.js (middleware, API structures, security implementations)React.js (hooks, context, Redux/Zustand, component architecture)Node.js (scalable API development, clustering, async programming)Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript (preferred)Basic to intermediate Java knowledge (OOPs, REST APIs, Spring Boot basics preferred).Strong command over REST APIs, JSON, WebSockets, API optimization.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflow, Docker (preferred).Good knowledge of database performance tuning and data modeling.Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP is an added advantage.
