Job Description :


To excel in the role of an SAP ABAP Developer, you should possess a comprehensive understanding of both new and existing technical objects, often referred to as RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms). Your expertise should encompass SAP S/4HANA reporting, including a strong grasp of Core Data Services (CDS) views, analytical views, and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).


Proficiency in using SAP HANA Studio as an ABAP Development Tools (ADT) is essential for this role, allowing you to develop and manage complex technical solutions effectively.

Desirable Skills :

ABAP Certification :


- Holding an ABAP certification will demonstrate your formal training and proficiency in ABAP programming, which is highly valued.

Core ABAP Experience :


- Experience in core ABAP, especially within an S/4HANA landscape, is crucial.

- This includes a solid understanding of Data Dictionary Objects, classical and interactive reporting, detailed lists, ALV Grid, and text elements.

Communication and Attitude :


- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for collaborating with team members and stakeholders, ensuring that all aspects of the project are addressed efficiently.

Process Knowledge :


- Familiarity with SAP functional modules will aid in aligning technical solutions with business processes and requirements.

JavaScript Knowledge :


- Basic knowledge of JavaScript can be beneficial, as it adds versatility to your skill set and can support various aspects of development.

FIORI Experience :


- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori is a must, as it ensures you can effectively develop and enhance modern, user-friendly applications.

Roles and Responsibilities :

As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality technical objects.

Your responsibilities will include :

Independent Technical Delivery :


- You will be tasked with the end-to-end delivery of assigned technical objects, requiring you to independently design, develop, and implement solutions that meet client needs.

Client and Business Interaction :


- The role involves significant interaction with business clients and functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

- Your ability to drive technical solutions that align with business requirements will be crucial.

Code Reviews and Design Issues :


- Participate in and contribute to code review activities to ensure the quality and effectiveness of technical solutions.

- You will also need to address and resolve any design issues that arise during the development process.

Functional QA Reviews :


- Collaborate with testing teams and business resources to support system and integration testing.

- Your role includes ensuring that technical solutions meet functional requirements and are thoroughly tested.

Guidance and Mentoring :


- Provide guidance and support to junior ABAP developers, helping them translate business and functional requirements into clear technical design specifications and related documentation.


Problem Solving and Collaboration :


- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.

- Your experience working with multicultural clients and teams across different time zones will be beneficial in managing diverse and complex projects.
