OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled 3D VFX & CFX Artist to create high-quality visual effects and character-based simulations for our production pipeline. The ideal candidate has a strong artistic eye, excellent technical problem-solving ability, and hands-on experience with industry-standard tools. You will collaborate closely with animation, lighting, and pipeline teams to bring dynamic, realistic effects and character simulations to life.Key ResponsibilitiesVisual Effects (VFX)Create high-quality particle, fluid, fire, smoke, destruction, and environmental effects.Simulate natural phenomena using tools such as Houdini, Maya, or similar software.Develop custom setups and procedural systems to achieve complex effects.Work with lighting and rendering teams to deliver final-quality VFX passes.Character Effects (CFX)Build and simulate cloth, hair, fur, feathers, and soft-body dynamics.Maintain and refine character simulation rigs, setups, and deformations.Ensure simulations meet artistic direction and run efficiently in production.Collaborate with rigging and animation teams to troubleshoot technical challenges.Skills & QualificationsRequiredSolid experience with industry-standard software for VFX/CFX work.Strong understanding of physics-based simulations and procedural workflows.Experience with grooming, cloth systems, or character dynamics.Familiarity with rendering engines (e.g., Unreal Engine).Ability to work within deadlines in a collaborative, team-based environment.Portfolio RequirementsShowreel demonstrating strong VFX and/or CFX work.Clear shot breakdowns outlining your specific contributions.Simulation-focused examples (cloth, hair, destruction, particles, fluids).Why Join Us?
