Job Summary
Creating and closing new opportunities focusing international Sales By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use his expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
Role & responsibilities
- Generate leads for new business.
- Meet customers, give presentation, and create sales pitch.
- Handle complex discussions with senior-level executives.
- Coordinate RFQ submissions to customers.
- Increase the share of business from existing customers.
- Build rapport with customers for long-term relationship.
- Create MIS and update management at specific intervals.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree (MBA) or an equivalent diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- 7-14 years of experience, in the Domestic and International Freight Forwarding Industry (Target Industries - E-Commerce, Automotive OEMs & Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers, Engineering Equipment, Medical Equipment, Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems.
- Proven track record of achieving stretched targets.
- Strong and effective contacts or connections in large companies within target industries.
- Actively participate in the company’s goal-setting process and achieve assigned targets.
- Thorough understanding of the current business model and future prospects.
- Ensure maximum strategic gains for both clients and the organization.
- Exhibit discretion and integrity when handling confidential information.
