Monitor real-time market developments, news flow, liquidity trends, and order-book dynamics. Optimize trade execution using algorithms, smart-order routing, and direct market access tools. Manage intraday risk positions, ensuring adherence to risk limits and compliance standards. Work closely with research, sales, and portfolio management teams to identify and act on trading opportunities. Analyze trade performance, slippage, and transaction cost metrics to improve execution quality. Maintain strong relationships with brokers, exchanges, and liquidity providers. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC, FINRA, MiFID II depending on region). Prepare and present periodic trading reports and market insights to senior management.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, related field. 2–5 years of experience in equity trading, market making, execution trading, or related roles (adjustable). Strong understanding of equity markets, microstructure, order types, and trading algorithms. Proficiency with trading systems (Bloomberg, Reuters, FIX engines, EMS/OMS platforms).
