Job Title: GCP Data Engineer Location Options: Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad / Delhi ( Onsite ) Experience Required: 6–10 years Joining: Immediate Interview Mode: Virtual Drive Interview Date: 14-Nov-2025Role OverviewAs a GCP Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that support business insights and decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintainscalable, reusable data pipelinesusing GCP tools likeBig Query, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, and Pub/Sub . DevelopETL processesto cleanse, transform, and enrich structured and unstructured data. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Implementdata quality checks , validation processes, and data lineage tracking. UseApache Airflowfor orchestration and automation of data workflows. Optimize performance and reliability of data systems. Supportreal-time data applicationsand machine learning feature engineering. Apply best practices likeTest Driven Development (TDD) ,CI/CD , andcode reviews . Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership.Required SkillsCloud Platforms : Strong hands-on experience withGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) . Data Tools : Big Query, Dataflow, Datapost, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Pub/Sub. Programming : Proficiency inPython , with experience inPandasandNumPy . ETL & Orchestration : Experience withApache Airflowand building robust ETL pipelines. Data Modeling : Familiarity with relational and dimensional data structures. Containers : Knowledge ofDockerandKubernetesis a plus. Frameworks : Exposure to distributed frameworks likeSpark ,Flunk , orBeamis beneficial.Preferred QualificationsExperience infinancial services or BFSI domain . Understanding ofdata governanceanddata lifecycle management .
