Minimum 6+ years of experience in Oracle UIM within telecommunications, broadband, or cloud service provider environments.

Act as the centralized source of truth for network, service, and resource inventory data to enable efficient service design, provisioning, and management.


Key Responsibilities :


- Inventory Management : Act as the centralized source of truth for all network, service, and resource inventory data. Manage end-to-end inventory for physical, logical, and service resources.


- Converged Services : Handle converged services across fixed, mobile, IP, and cloud networks on a single platform.


- Customization & Development : Develop and customize UIM Cartridges for modeling new products, services, and resources without altering the core system.


- System Integration : Integrate UIM with various OSS/BSS systems, including Oracle Order and Service Management (OSM), CRM, billing, and network management platforms.


- Lifecycle Management : Oversee the complete lifecycle management of resources, from design and provisioning to retirement, including network upgrades, expansions, and migrations.


- Data Accuracy : Ensure data accuracy, eliminate data silos, and maintain system consistency across all network and service records.


- API Integration : Work with SOAP and REST-based Open APIs for seamless integration with external applications.


Required Technical Skills & Qualifications :


Experience :


- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Oracle UIM, specifically within telecommunications, broadband, or cloud service provider environments.


- Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle Unified Inventory Management (UIM), including its core functionalities and data model.


- Proven experience in developing and customizing UIM Cartridges using Java and XML.


- Expertise in integrating UIM with other Oracle products like OSM and external systems using SOAP and RESTful web services.


- Strong knowledge of Oracle Database, including SQL and PL/SQL, for data analysis and troubleshooting.


- Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or Shell for automation.


- Deep understanding of network and service inventory concepts within the telecom domain.
