We are seeking a highly skilledData Engineerwith deep expertise inSQL, DBT, and Postgresto design, build, and maintain high-performance, reliable, and scalable data infrastructure. This role focuses on enabling near real-time replication pipelines, ensuring trusted data quality, and supporting internal stakeholders with reliable database solutions.Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid) Experience: 5–10 Years Availability: Immediate Joiner Employment Type: Full-TimeKey Responsibility: Design, develop, and optimizedata pipelinesusing SQL and DBT. Implement and managePostgres-based data solutions , ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Buildnear real-time replication pipelinesand support continuous data integration. Collaborate with internal teams to translate data requirements into efficient, maintainable solutions. Automate workflows usingAirflow, Rundeck, Mage, or Dagster . Monitor, validate, and ensuredata quality and system performancethrough proactive testing and optimization.Core Technical Skills & Expertise: SQL & DBT (Core Focus) Advanced SQL development (complex queries, views, performance tuning). Strong experience withDBT transformations, testing, and orchestration . Hands-on withdata validation tools(dbt tests, Great Expectations, etc.). Postgres Expertise Deep knowledge ofPostgres internals, tuning, and replication . Experience withJSON-B , Postgres extensions, andversion upgradeswith minimal downtime. Configuring and maintainingself-hosted Postgres environmentsfor high reliability. Automation & Infrastructure Skilled withworkflow orchestration tools(Airflow, Dagster, Metaflow, etc.). Familiar withCI/CD systems(Jenkins or similar). Experience inDockerand containerized deployment environments.Nice-to-Have Skills: AWS ecosystem experience(EC2, RDS, Aurora). Knowledge ofmetadata/catalog systems(e.g., OpenMetadata). Familiarity with analytical databases such asClickHouse, DuckDB , orCloudberry . Exposure toPython/Django , with the ability to map models to SQL schemas.
