Position: Quantitative Research Internship

Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Quantitative Research Intern to join our team and contribute to the research and development of strategies, with a focus on options trading. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in algorithm development, data structures, and financial markets.

 

Responsibilities: 

- Develop and optimize options trading strategies using Python, with a focus on efficiency and reliability.

- Back-test and validate options trading strategies using historical data, market data feeds, and other relevant sources.

- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code for executing options trading strategies in live market environments.

- Build robust order execution and management systems for options trading.

- Design and implement efficient data storage solutions using SQL or other databases for options trading data.

- Conduct thorough performance analysis to identify and mitigate any issues in code or system design.

- Collaborate with team members to develop new algorithms and improve existing ones for options trading.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in algorithmic trading and financial markets, particularly in options trading.

 

Skills Required: 

- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in algorithm development and data structures.

- Understanding of financial markets and trading strategies, including options trading, order types, execution venues, and risk management.

- Familiarity with SQL or other database systems.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Highly motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for producing high-quality work.

 

Education: 

Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or related field.

 

Work Experience: 

0-2 years of work experience in Algo Trading.
