About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing BIM team as a BIM Coordinator. This role offers an excellent opportunity to transition into a technical office-based position, leveraging your practical construction experience.


What is BIM? Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a 3D modeling technology that allows us to visualize projects virtually, simulate potential challenges, and deliver innovative solutions. This powerful tool enables us to streamline our processes, improve efficiency, and enhance project outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Initial Training and Development: Work closely with the BIM Manager to gain a comprehensive understanding of the RFI process, shop drawing review and approval procedures, and the utilization of 2D plans and 3D models.
  • Develop foundational 3D modeling skills through hands-on training and mentorship.
  • Advanced Modeling Tasks: Contribute to the creation of 3D models for temporary works, construction sequencing, and multi-trade coordination.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve potential design and construction issues.
  • Project Management and Support: Manage assigned projects from shop drawing coordination to providing ongoing support to Project Managers and Site Managers during construction.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate with project teams, subcontractors, and design consultants to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Identify and address issues promptly, proposing innovative solutions.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • 3-5yrs relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving technologies.
