Overview: We are seeking a skilled SAP FICO (Finance and Controlling) Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP finance and controlling modules and extensive experience in implementing and supporting SAP FICO solutions. They will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and optimizing SAP FICO functionalities to meet business requirements and drive financial excellence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Implementation and Configuration:
  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects for SAP FICO modules, including gathering business requirements, designing solutions, and configuring system settings.
  • Customize SAP FICO functionalities to align with business processes, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement enhancements and improvements to existing SAP FICO systems.
  1. Financial Accounting (FI):
  • Configure and maintain SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting (BA).
  • Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, adherence to accounting principles, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial reporting and reconciliation activities.
  1. Controlling (CO):
  • Configure SAP CO modules, including Cost Element Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
  • Implement costing methodologies and perform cost allocations to analyze and control costs within the organization.
  • Generate cost center and profit center reports, variance analysis, and other financial reports to support decision-making processes.
  1. Integration and Interface Management:
  • Coordinate with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) to ensure seamless integration with FICO functionalities.
  • Manage interfaces between SAP FICO and external systems, resolving any integration issues and ensuring data consistency.
  1. User Training and Support:
  • Provide end-user training and support for SAP FICO functionalities, including resolving user inquiries and addressing system issues.
  • Develop training materials, user guides, and documentation to facilitate effective use of SAP FICO systems.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated on SAP FICO best practices, industry trends, and new technologies to recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize SAP FICO systems and streamline financial processes for enhanced efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience working with Indian clients (GST Knowledge) with 4-5 years of experience in manufacturing set up and being part of Finance Transformation and other transformations within the organization will be preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in SAP FICO implementation and support.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules, including configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and controlling methodologies.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred.
  • SAP certification in FICO module is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions
