Job Title : Python - Django Lead

Location : Bangalore / Pune

Employment Type : Full-time

Experience Required : 6+ years

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications using Python and Django framework.

- Architect, design, and model PostgreSQL databases to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

- Work with Azure/Cumulocity or other IoT platforms to develop and deploy IoT solutions.

- Create and deploy microservices and provision them into IoT platforms for mobile and web applications.

- Implement load balancing strategies to optimize application performance.

- Develop and maintain server-side software for Azure/Cumulocity platforms.

- Build and manage APIs to support mobile and web interfaces.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, frontend developers, and business teams to ensure seamless integration.

- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and security in all deliverables.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Python, Django, IoT, and cloud technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience :

- Minimum 6+ years of overall software development experience, with a strong focus on Python and Django framework.

- Proficiency in PostgreSQL database architecture, design, and modeling.

- Experience working with Azure/Cumulocity or any other IoT platform.

- Strong knowledge of server-side software development on Azure/Cumulocity.

- Proven experience in creating microservices and provisioning them into IoT platforms.

- Expertise in load balancing techniques for scalable applications.

- Hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs for mobile and web applications.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of Node.js is a plus.

- Experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.

- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) for seamless API integration.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
