JoinGigskyas aGeneral Accountant , where you'll manage core accounting operations and leverageNetSuite ERPto drive financial accuracy and efficiency across borders.What You’ll Do As our NetSuite-savvy accountant, you’ll: Maintain and reconcile thegeneral ledger , ensuring accurate journal entries and account balances. Manageaccounts payable (AP)andaccounts receivable (AR)cycles, ensuring timely invoicing, collections, and vendor payments. Leadmonth-end, quarter-end, and year-end closeprocesses within NetSuite, preparing financial statements and supporting schedules. Reconcilebank accounts ,credit cards , andbalance sheet accounts , resolving discrepancies proactively. Supportpayroll accounting , including ledger reconciliation and compliance checks. Build and analyzeNetSuite reports ,dashboards , andsaved searchesto deliver actionable financial insights. Ensure compliance withGAAP , internal controls, and audit requirements. Collaborate cross-functionally withSales, Operations, and HR teams globally , ensuring transactional accuracy and system alignment. Assist withNetSuite optimization , including workflow enhancements and automation opportunities. Contribute toad-hoc projects , audits, and process improvement initiatives.Global Collaboration This role requiresexcellent verbal communication skillsto effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones. You’ll report directly to ourChief Financial Officer based in the United States , making clear and confident communication a key success factor.What We’re Looking For Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline. Experience : 2–5+ years in general accounting, with2+ years of hands-on NetSuite ERP experience . NetSuite Expertise : Proficient inGL, AP, AR , and reporting tools; familiarity withSuiteAnalyticsis a plus. Excel Mastery : Advanced skills inMicrosoft Excel(pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas). GAAP Knowledge : Strong grasp of accounting principles and compliance standards. Analytical Mindset : Detail-oriented with a knack for solving complex financial puzzles. Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication to engage with global stakeholders. Agility : Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Bonus Points NetSuite Certification : SuiteFoundation or Certified Financial User. Experience withFixed Assets ,Inventory Management , ormulti-entity accounting . Proven track record inprocess automationandsystem enhancements .
