Job Title: GCP Platform Engineer Total Experience Required: 5 to 8 Years Work Location: Pune, EON - Cluster D Shift Timings: 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM IST Work Mode: Hybrid✅ Job Summary We are looking for a seasonedGCP Platform Engineerwith5 to 8 years of experiencein designing, building, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, DevOps pipelines, networking, and Kubernetes orchestration onGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) . The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps practices, security, and containerization technologies.✅ Key Responsibilities Design, build, and managehighly scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on GCP . Develop and maintainInfrastructure as Code (IaC)solutions usingTerraform . Design and implement robustCI/CD pipelinesfor efficient software delivery. Architect, deploy, and manageKubernetes (GKE) clustersand containerized applications. Implement and enforcecloud security best practices , including IAM, firewalls, and encryption. Troubleshoot and resolve complexplatform, networking, and infrastructure issuesacross distributed systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, operations, and security to ensure adherence to cloud best practices. Optimize cloud infrastructure forperformance, scalability, and cost-efficiency . Stay up to date with GCP innovations and suggest improvements for platform engineering practices.✅ Primary Skills (Must Have) Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Serverless, Data Services). Strong background inPlatform EngineeringandDevOps methodologies . Expertise inKubernetes (GKE)and container orchestration. In-depth knowledge ofcloud networking concepts(VPC, subnets, firewalls, ingress/egress traffic). Proven experience withTerraform for Infrastructure as Code . Familiarity withenterprise security tools(e.g., GCP Secret Manager, IAM policies). Experience withDocker , containerization, andmulti-stage Docker builds . Proficiency withCI/CD toolslikeGitHub Actions , GitLab CI, or similar.✅ Additional Skills (Good to Have) Experience withGoogle Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and serverless architectures . Knowledge ofPolicy as Codeusing tools likeOPA (Open Policy Agent)or Forseti. Familiarity withcost optimization strategieson GCP. Monitoring and observability tools likeGoogle Cloud Operations Suite (Stackdriver) , Prometheus, and Grafana.✅ Top 3 Skills Required GCP Hands-on Expertise Platform Engineering & DevOps Expertise and hands-on in terraform Networking & Kubernetes Operations
