About Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Implementation Specialist with extensive experience in Credit Risk, Lending Solutions, and Banking/Financial Services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and executing complex credit systems implementation in NBFCs and Banks. This role requires expertise in credit risk management processes, financial products, and the end-to-end lifecycle of implementation in financial institutions.

The Implementation Specialist will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to deliver and optimize credit-related solutions, ensuring seamless integration, regulatory compliance, and improved customer experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation & Project Management:

  • Lead the implementation of credit-related solutions (e.g., loan origination systems, credit risk models, digital lending platforms) within banks and NBFCs.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, from scoping and planning to execution and post-implementation support.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including technology, business, and operations to ensure the solution meets business requirements.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for successful project delivery.
  • Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and milestones.

Credit Risk & Lending Process:

  • Design and implement credit risk management solutions, including credit scoring, credit assessment, loan approval processes, and loan lifecycle management.
  • Work with risk and underwriting teams to define and implement credit policies, risk models, and automated decision engines.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and compliance requirements related to credit products.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership, product managers, IT, and business teams to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the implementation process.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all implementation-related queries and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Provide regular status updates, reports, and risk assessments to stakeholders.

Process Optimization & Efficiency:

  • Conduct assessments of existing credit-related processes and identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and cost optimization.
  • Lead the optimization of credit workflow to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and improve overall performance.

 

Training & Support:

  • Provide training to internal teams and stakeholders on the implemented systems and processes.
  • Offer post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement suggestions.
  • Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and user adoption of implemented systems.

Vendor Management:

  • Collaborate with external vendors and third-party service providers to manage integrations and ensure timely delivery of technical solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in the banking/financial services industry, particularly in credit risk management, lending, and credit systems implementation in NBFCs or Banks.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field. Relevant certifications in Project Management (PMP), Risk Management, or Credit Analysis are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with credit risk modeling, loan management systems, credit scoring models, and digital lending platforms. Knowledge of core banking systems, data analytics, and automation tools is an advantage.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven experience in leading large-scale, cross-functional projects.       Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks for credit and lending in India or internationally, such as RBI regulations, KYC/AML, and data protection laws.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
