Job Overview :

We are looking for an SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) Programmer with 3 to 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and managing SAP integration solutions. The candidate should have a strong understanding of SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and Event Mesh, along with hands-on experience in cloud-based integration patterns.

Key Responsibilities :

SAP CPI Development & Integration :

- Develop and maintain integration flows (iFlows) using SAP CPI to connect SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Work with OData, SOAP, REST, SFTP, IDocs, RFC, JMS, and API-based integrations.

- Develop custom adapters, exception handling mechanisms, and reusable integration templates.

- Ensure secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, SAML, and API security best practices.

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand business needs and design integration solutions.

SAP Integration Suite & API Management :

- Implement SAP API Management for creating, securing, and managing APIs across platforms.

- Design and develop Event-Driven Architectures using SAP Event Mesh and message queues.

- Optimize integration performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues between cloud and on-premise systems.

Testing, Monitoring & Troubleshooting :

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing of SAP CPI integrations.

- Use SAP CPI monitoring tools to analyse logs, troubleshoot errors, and ensure smooth system operations.

- Develop error-handling and retry mechanisms for reliable data exchange.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to align integration requirements.

- Document technical specifications, integration designs, and best practices.

- Provide technical support and knowledge-sharing sessions to internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience :

Technical Expertise :

- 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP CPI, SAP Integration Suite, and API Management.

- Hands-on experience with SOAP, REST, OData, IDocs, RFCs, and JMS-based integration scenarios.

- Proficiency in SAP Cloud Connector and hybrid integration models (Cloud & On-Premise).

- Knowledge of message transformation using XSLT, Groovy, and JavaScript scripting.

- Experience with SAP BTP services like Event Mesh, Business Rules, and Workflow is a plus.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps tools for integration deployment.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Ability to work independently and in agile project teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP CPI / Integration Suite Certification is a plus.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP SuccessFactors integrations.
