Job Description :


As a Product Owner, you will play a pivotal leadership role in a cross-functional team focused on retail industry solutions. You will be responsible for orchestrating complex, multi-service projects on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with a focus on BigQuery.


This role encompasses all phases of the product lifecycle, from market analysis, design, build, and testing to roll-out, activation, and sustain/upgrade cycles, ensuring alignment with the target outcomes.

Hybrid role from Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Gurgaon, Kolkata

Required Skills : GCP, BigQuery, Stakeholder Management, Agile, Product Road mapping

Preferred : Certifications are added plus.

Job Requirement :

Strategy and Roadmap :

  • Define and own the overall offering strategy and roadmap.
  • Work with key stakeholders across the business to drive engagement and agreement on the product vision.
  • Ensure the product aligns with retail modules such as Sales, Inventory, Supply Chain, Master Data, Inventory Control Tower, and Visualization using modern BI tools.
Project Scoping and Team Management :
  • Scope the work effort to develop, sustain, and/or upgrade the offering.
  • Identify required skills and collaborate with offering development leadership to staff the project team.
  • Supervise multiple PODs and guide agile methodologies throughout the product lifecycle.
Customer-Centric Problem Solving :
  • Understand customer pain points and how the product addresses these issues.
  • Gather feedback from Client Account Leads and offering sponsors, incorporating it throughout the product lifecycle.
Digital Content Management :
  • Collaborate with the Asset Engineering and Knowledge Management teams to maintain digital content for the offering.
Quality Assurance and Issue Resolution :
  • Assess impact and resolve issues that may impede progress.
  • Follow offering standards and stage-gate processes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Obtain sign-off from leads and sponsors before progressing to the next stage.
Process Improvement :
  • Suggest, prioritize, and support the implementation of offering development process improvements.
Skills Required :

Retail Domain and Data Analytics Expertise :
  • Deep understanding of retail data and analytics, particularly in sales, inventory, supply chain, and master data.
  • Extensive knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the ability to connect them to data models.
Technical and Analytical Skills :
  • Proficiency in modern BI tools and the ability to visualize data effectively.
  • Ability to traverse complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
  • Experience with GCP, BigQuery, and other relevant technologies.
Project Management and Agile Methodologies :
  • Proven success working across multiple senior stakeholders.
  • High energy and adaptability to an evolving operating model.
  • Experience with agile ways of working and product management.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills :
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Narrative Building :
  • Ability to build compelling narratives from existing materials to support product development and stakeholder engagement.
