Deposits are insured by the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC).Role Description:The Cards Business Analyst will contribute to business and technical initiatives related to card payment authorization, clearing, settlement, tokenization, credit card billing, and testing activities utilizing MAS and related simulators. The analyst will engage in process analysis, solution design, documentation, and coordination across internal and external stakeholders. The role is ideal for professionals with 3–5 years of exposure to end-to-end card payment workflows.Qualifications BCA /BE or BTech -Computer Science or IT Or Electronicsor related field. Experience working in banking, payments technology, or financial services product teams. 3–5 years’ experience in credit/debit card operations, business analysis, or payment platform development.​ Practical experience with payment scheme simulators—especially MasterCard Authorization Simulator (MAS)—and card transaction authorization testing.​ In-depth knowledge of card transaction lifecycle, including authorization, clearing, settlement, and billing.​​ Exposure to tokenization solutions and understanding of payment security standards (PCI DSS, scheme security requirements).​ Familiarity with credit card statement cycles, billing operations, and dispute/chargeback management. Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with Agile/Scrum, project tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence), and working in cross-functional teams.Roles & Responsibilities: Analyze and document requirements for card transaction authorization, clearing, settlement, billing, and security (tokenization) processes according to scheme guidelines and business goals.​​ Coordinate and perform authorization testing using MasterCard Authorization Simulator (MAS), including execution of functional and business test cases for card products and payment platforms.​ Support integration and administration of tokenization methodologies to protect cardholder data in line with PCI DSS and scheme protocols.​​ Engage in reconciliation and validation processes for clearing and settlement, including exception handling and daily reporting.​ Oversee credit card billing processes: statement cycle management, transaction posting, interest and fee calculation, and dispute handling. Draft business requirement documents, functional specifications, test scripts, and user manuals for payment authorization and billing platforms. Collaborate with IT/development, QA, operations, and scheme partners to ensure project alignment and resolve system/process issues. Provide production support for card payments systems, including issue triage, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis Document production incidents, resolutions, and process improvements; report system status and production issues to stakeholders Prepare and deliver project status updates, progress reports, and ensure deliverables adhere to defined timelines. Assess and recommend improvements related to authorization tools, billing workflows, and clearing/settlement practices.
