Job Title : Software Engineer - .Net & React
Reports to : VP Product Management
Location : Bangalore
MRI Software is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team working on the MRI suite of products.
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
You should have a passion for development and an eagerness to learn new things and improve your skills.
We are looking for a team player who is willing to offer opinions confidently and to hear others out.
Responsibilities :
- Contribute to the strategic vision of the product development organization and lead the team toward that vision.
- Coach the team on modern web development best practices, and help define the architecture of the strata web offerings in line with MRIs preferred tech stacks wherever possible
- Coach individual contributors to foster their professional development.
- Support the tech lead in managing the dev team
- Contribute to building team technical capabilities and ensure the use of repeatable processes(e.g. establish best practices, mentoring, individual development plans, recruiting, etc.) that align with technical and business strategy
- Contribute to the execution of the technical roadmap based on input from the business and product advisory boards
- Help maintain a culture of learning and continuous improvement
- Document work completed, ensure Jira is used for work tracking. Periodic submission of management information such as status updates and labour capitalization reporting.
- Help establish and maintain a bias for action across your team.
Job Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience delivering commercial software
- Experience with .NET Core, C# and development using MVC
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React JS and the related tools and processes
- Experience with the usage of REST APIs
- Client-side CSS pre-processors, such as LESS and SASS
- Knowledge of responsive web design
- Knowledge of SQL Database (we use MS SQL) and SSRS Reports.
- Familiarity with service oriented architectures and modern design patterns.
- Previous experience in developing enterprise software and SaaS applications.
- Familiar with Azure/AWS (our preferred environment is Azure)
- Basic knowledge of UI/UX standards
- Direct project involvement and leadership of projects delivering enterprise software solutions
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including multiple development methodologies (experience with Agile principles preferred)
- MRI Software product knowledge or enterprise accounting software experience a plus
- Knowledge of enterprise software environments and deployment approaches for SaaS offerings
