Role Overview :

As a Senior Data Engineer at Think Right Technologies, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable data-driven solutions. You will work with both SQL and NoSQL technologies, manage data repositories, and collaborate with product development teams to deliver high-quality data systems that meet strategic business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Data Pipeline Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for efficient ingestion, transformation, and storage.

- Implement and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows.

2. Database Management :

- Manage and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.

- Design database schemas, implement indexing, and perform performance tuning.

3. Data Quality & Integrity :

- Monitor and validate data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems.

- Identify and resolve data quality issues using data cleansing techniques.

4. Data Integration :

- Integrate data from diverse sources including internal systems, external APIs, and third-party providers.

- Support data migration and synchronization initiatives.

5. Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

- Actively participate in team meetings, providing progress updates and insights.

6. Documentation & Reporting :

- Maintain clear documentation of processes, workflows, and data systems.

- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate insights and project status to management.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

- 57 years of experience in data engineering, database management, or related roles.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).

- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.

- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

- Experience with data integration tools (Apache NiFi, Talend).

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

- Hands-on with AWS Glue and/or Azure Data Factory.

- Knowledge of Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is desirable.

- Exposure to API development and machine learning basics is a plus.
