Maxima is looking for a Senior Inventory Planner to play a crucial role in ensuring efficient inventory management and timely product delivery Reporting to the Dir. Demand Planning, the Senior Inventory Planner will be a part of a larger planning team working cross functionally with Sales, Production, Ecommerce and Operations.


Annual Salary Range: 6 - 9 Lakhs

Shift Timing(Night) : 06.30 PM – 03.30 AM (IST)


Responsibilities:

  • Sales Order Support: Collaborate on reviewing and reconciling inventory against Open Orders for global wholesale & ecommerce.
  • Inventory Data Management:
  • Develop production and inventory management plans to support both material and finished good requirements.
  • Analyze inventory movement (including incoming/outgoing shipments and transfers).
  • Proactively drive actions to keep a healthy inventory position in the assigned businesses.
  • Leverage multiple reports and dashboards to review key metrics, escalate any issues that will cause unfulfilled demand and/or a delay to the expected timelines.
  • Report and communicate to consumer planning teams delivery expectations, solutions to risks and opportunities and driving inventory health/productivity. Monitor SKU and category-level performance to optimize inventory
  • Partner with Director of Planning on monthly, seasonal, and annual forecasting
  • Build cross-functional relationships with Merchandising, Operations, and Production teams
  • Delivery and Production Oversight: Communicate bulk delivery status to Sales and Ecommerce teams, ensuring on-time delivery of production.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data related to sales, shipments, and inventory across various vendors and product lines, providing solutions and recommendations.


Qualifications:

  • Tech-savvy: Possess strong computer proficiency including advanced Excel skills and be proficient in data entry. Adaptability to new ERP systems is essential.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively with domestic and international partners via various communication platforms, collaborate with diverse team members, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Demonstrate the ability to analyze data related to shipments, inventory, and costs, and draw valuable conclusions.
  • Detail-oriented: Maintain high attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the role.
  • Additional Qualities: Be flexible, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Skills For Success

Minimum 3 years of experience related to planning and forecasting experience (Supply/Demand/Inventory)

  • Retail math.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, sumifs, index match, charts, etc)
  • Knowledge of best practices for managing large data sets
  • Analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfort in addressing all levels within an organization
  • Attitude of a team player with ability to work independently and collaborate with remote partners
  • Excellent written, spoken and visual communication skills. Specifically, well demonstrated capability converting complex concepts into easy to interpret stories that resonate across a varied audience
  • Flexibility in switching from strategic to tactical and operational levels of thinking and working, specifically in strategy deployment.
  • Must have tolerance for a complex, ever-changing and dynamic work environment
  • Ability to demonstrate good decision making in ambiguous circumstances
  • Participate on projects, including system releases, as assigned
