We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team in Bangalore or Chennai.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and experience in building and managing data pipelines, processing large datasets, and optimizing ETL processes.


This role requires proficiency in BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Python, SQL, and ETL processes to support our data engineering and analytics needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Pipeline Development :


- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.

Data Processing :


- Process and transform large datasets to ensure data quality and accessibility for analysis and reporting.

ETL Processes :


- Implement and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes.

Data Modeling :


- Create and maintain data models to support business analytics and reporting requirements.

Optimization :


- Optimize data pipelines and queries for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

Collaboration :


- Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.

Troubleshooting :


- Identify and resolve issues related to data pipelines, data processing, and data integration to ensure smooth operations.

Documentation :


- Document data engineering processes, data pipelines, and workflows to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.

Best Practices :


- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data engineering and GCP technologies. Apply best practices to improve data engineering processes and practices.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

Google Cloud Platform (GCP) :


- Proficiency with GCP services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.

Python :


- Strong programming skills in Python for data processing and ETL tasks.

SQL :


- Expertise in SQL for querying and manipulating data.

Data Engineering: Solid experience in designing and managing data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration.

Big Data: Experience with big data technologies and processing large-scale datasets.

Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer or in similar roles.
