Snapmint was started by a closely-knit team of passionate bankers and technocrats from IIT Bombay. We are looking for a candidate who can handle tax the role:

We are looking for someone who can manage and oversee all direct and indirect tax matters, mostly in indirect tax. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations and a proven track record of effectively managing tax-related tasks and compliance in a financial services or fintech environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for preparing/reviewing & timely payment of Monthly TDS liability.

2. Manage GST audits and assessments, responding to queries from tax authorities.

3. Adhering to regulatory and statutory compliance of RBI and other regulatory

4. Preparing and Filing Income Tax, GST, TDS returns as well as Annual MCA compliances.

5. Finalize Income Tax Audits for Corporate and Non - Corporates.

6. Develop and implement strategies to optimize indirect tax liability.

7. Keep abreast of industry trends and developments in tax regulations.

8. Liaise with external tax advisors and auditors as needed.

9. Ensure accurate and organized record-keeping of all tax-related documents.

10. Develop and implement internal policies and procedures to enhance tax compliance.

Experience & qualification required:

1. CA qualified with 2-3 years of work experience in taxation, with a focus on indirect taxes.

2. Proven experience in tax compliance, planning, and advisory services.

3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

6.Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced work environment.

Location: Mumbai (Nahur Central Line)

Working days: 5 days & alternate sat working
