Senior/Junior Electrical Design Engineer

A. Educational Qualification:

B.E. EEE/ ECE/ Dip  

B. Experience:

1. 3-8 years of experience.

2. Experience in hotels / hospitals / office buildings / IT fit-outs/ Apartments/ Industries/ Residential/ Commercial buildings.

 

C. Knowledge:

1. Good exposure to Designing electrical facilities.

2. Knowledge about system design as per NBC, IEC, and CEIG guidelines.

 

D. Software Knowledge:

Mandatory: Auto CAD, Proficiency in MS Office.

Revit MEP Added Advantage


E. Functional Skills Requirements:

1. Design Skills – Requirements collection, Preparation of Load Estimate, Design Basis Report, Space Planning, Lux level Calculations, Cable Sufficiency / Voltage drop calculations

2. Drawing Skills – 2D drawings – Lighting, Power layouts, Schematic / Single line drawings, Detailed sections / Elevations as applicable, Panel GA

3. Documentation – Preparation of Material Take of Sheets, Bill of Quantities, Technical specifications, budgetary estimates

4. Project Execution – Responding to RFIs, Quality Reports, Material and drawing approvals

5.    Knowledge of telephone, network, CCTV layouts and scheme

6.    Responsible for the project from the design stage to execution and completion of the project at site.

7.    Monitoring the progress of site at work and reporting the same to management and client as required.

 

F. Other Requirements:

3. Adapt to business requirements.

4. Good command of English - written and verbal communication.

5. The job requires traveling to client’s offices and Project sites.
