This position blendsarchitecture strategy, technical leadership, and hands-on solution design, bridging business goals with system implementation.Key Responsibilities .NET Application & Solution ArchitectureArchitect modular enterprise systems usingASP.NET Core,C#, andEntity Framework Core. Define reusablepatterns for APIs, MVC/PWA frontends, and data access layers. Designservice boundaries, component diagrams, and data flowmodels for multi-module systems. Establish architecture standards forperformance, availability, caching, dependency injection, and resilience. Mentor developers and review implementations to ensure architectural consistency and maintainability.Systems Design & IntegrationDefineenterprise integration frameworksleveragingREST, gRPC, message queues, and event-drivenpatterns. ArchitectAPI Gateways,microservices, andsecure communication layersfor cross-agency integrations. Collaborate withDevOpsandCloud Engineersto defineCI/CD pipelines, infrastructure topologies, and deployment automation. Design and optimizehigh-availabilitysystems spanningcloud, hybrid, and on-premenvironments. Lead integration withpayment gateways, tax systems, enforcement databases, and third-party services.Data, Security & ComplianceDefineshared data modelsand integration standards for multi-module interoperability. Ensure adherence toNIST, StateRAMP, FedRAMP, and CJIScompliance frameworks. Architect secureauthentication and authorizationviaAzure AD / OAuth2 / OpenID Connect. Work with the data team onOLTP and reportingdatabase structures and data flows. Enforce robustaudit logging, encryption, and access controlmechanisms.Governance & CollaborationTranslate business requirements intoscalable, traceable technical designs. Participate inarchitecture review boards and createC4 diagrams, ADRs, and ERDs. Stay ahead of emerging.NET, cloud, and AI-driven architecturetrends to guide platform evolution. Document and communicate architecture decisions and their trade-offs clearly to stakeholders.Qualifications10+ years of experience insoftware engineering and architecturewithin the.NET ecosystem. Proven track record designingenterprise-scale systemswithASP.NET Core, C#, EF Core, SQL Server, andAzure/AWSservices. Strong grasp ofmicroservices,event-driven design, andsystem integrationpatterns. Expertise inDevOps automation,infrastructure as code, andcloud-nativedesign. Background ingovernment, licensing, regulatory, or tax systemsis an advantage. Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across teams.Preferred SkillsExperience withDomain-Driven Design (DDD),Clean Architecture, orHexagonal Architecture. Familiarity withDocker, Kubernetes, and IaC tools likeTerraform/Bicep. Proficiency withAzure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, and distributed caching (Redis). Deep understanding ofsecurity, logging, and compliancein enterprise and government-grade systems.
