Role:Energy Education Engineer Company:GeoSkills.AI Location:Mumbai (In-office or Hybrid) Type:Permanent, Full-Time Compensation:₹70,000 – ₹1lac per month What You’ll Do As an Energy Education Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of technical training, AI simulation, and content development. Your work will directly shape how engineers, students, and professionals learn about modern energy systems. Responsibilities Collaborate on AI-powered drilling and energy simulator development. Design and test interactive learning experiences that combine simulation and course content. Research and develop educational materials across multiple energy sectors (oil & gas, geothermal, hydrogen, renewables, and subsurface systems). Simplify complex geoscience and engineering concepts into engaging, student-friendly modules. Support visual and written content creation — including video scripts, images, quizzes, and assignments. Work with subject-matter experts and product designers to enhance simulator functionality and realism. Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking a candidate who is passionate about energy systems, teaching, and innovative digital learning tools. Must-Have EducationB.Tech or M.Tech in Geology, Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other geoscience-related fields.Preferred BackgroundGraduates from IITs or other premier institutes (especially IIT Bombay). Strong understanding of subsurface energy systems and geoscience fundamentals. Chemical engineers with a clear interest in energy or geological applications.Skills & CompetenciesStrong research and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools. Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) or programming (Python, MATLAB, or similar). Contribute to content covering topics such as Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS), Lithium Extraction from Brines, Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS), Energy Storage Technologies, and AI in Subsurface Exploration. Support GeoSkills.AI’s goal of building the most comprehensive digital learning and simulator ecosystem for the energy transition. Must-Have B.Tech or M.Tech (or final-year student) in Geology, Geophysics, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related energy or geoscience discipline. Fundamental understanding of energy systems, geology, and drilling concepts. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English – ability to explain clearly and logically. Curiosity to learn and explore new topics across multiple energy domains. Research and synthesis skills – ability to read reports, whitepapers, and textbooks and turn them into simplified training content.Preferred Exposure to oil & gas, renewable energy, or energy transition coursework. Experience in content development, teaching, or technical presentations. Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) or basic simulation and modeling software. Awareness of global decarbonization and clean energy trends.
