Learn more at www.biconnector.com.About the Role We are seeking aLead Data Engineerto design, build, and manageenterprise-grade data pipelinesinMicrosoft FabricandAzure Data Factory (ADF) . This is acustomer-facing role , where you’ll partner directly with clients to translate business needs into scalable data solutions, whileleading and building small teamsand mentoring other engineers. The ideal candidate is hands-on with Fabric/ADF, strong inSQL and Stored Procedures , and experienced in deliveringend-to-end projectsusingMedallion Architecture .Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize metadata-drivendata pipelinesin Fabric and ADF for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.Implement transformations usingSQL and Stored Proceduresto ensure performance and maintainability. Architect solutions usingMedallion Architecture , ensuring scalability, governance, and reusability. Lead small teams,mentor data engineers , and set technical direction on projects. Work directly withcustomersto gather requirements, troubleshoot, and provide best-practice guidance. Integrate data fromOracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM,and other SaaS/on-prem systems into Fabric, Data Lakes, or Warehouses. Deliverproduction-grade solutionswith monitoring, error handling, and performance optimization. Document and share best practices, reusable frameworks, and provideknowledge transferto client teams.What You Bring Must-have: 6+ years indata engineering , with2+ years leading/mentoring teams . Strong expertise inMicrosoft FabricandAzure Data Factory (ADF) . Advanced proficiency inSQLandStored Procedures . Provenend-to-end project deliveryexperience (from raw ingestion to BI/analytics). Deep understanding ofMedallion Architectureand data lakehouse practices. Excellent communication skills for working with both business and technical stakeholders.Bonus Points For Exposure toOracle Fusion ERP/HCM/SCMdata models or BI/reporting tools. Familiarity withBI Connectoror other integration middleware. Consulting/professional services background (customer-facing delivery). Knowledge ofdata governance, lineage, and securityin Azure.
