Junior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Junior Accountant to assist in daily financial operations and ensure accurate record-keeping. Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions in accounting software and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
• Reconcile bank statements and report discrepancies to senior accountants or supervisors.
• Process invoices, verify financial data, and ensure timely payment of bills.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Help with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and submit tax documentation under the guidance of senior staff.
• Organize and maintain financial documentation for audits and compliance.
• Assist in data entry and other administrative accounting tasks.
• Collaborate with the finance team to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
