Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of insurance professionals to achieve set performance targets and service level agreements (SLAs).- Set, monitor, and analyze team KPIs, including performance metrics and turnaround times (TATs).- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance team skills and productivity.- Develop and implement strategies to meet customer retention goals and improve client satisfaction.- Maintain excellent customer service standards and foster strong client relationships.- Collaborate with corporate teams and insurance units to streamline processes and improve service delivery.- Liaise with insurance partners to optimize products and services offered to clients.- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and internal policies.- Apply sound knowledge of medical underwriting in operational and strategic decisions.Qualifications and Skills:- 5-7 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, preferably in team leadership or managerial roles.- Strong leadership and people management skills with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.- Experience in performance monitoring, goal setting, and achieving business targets.- Ability to design and deliver effective training and development programs.- Excellent customer service orientation and client relationship management skills.- Sound understanding of insurance products, regulations, and medical underwriting processes.- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.- Proficiency in strategic planning and business development.- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.- Experience in the insurance sector is highly desirable.
