Resiliency Tester

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement resiliency-focused testing strategies for enterprise-grade applications and infrastructure.

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, scripts, and scenarios that validate fault tolerance, system recovery, and high availability.

Perform stress, load, chaos, and failure testing to simulate real-world disruptions and uncover vulnerabilities.

Analyze test results to provide actionable insights and risk assessments to engineering and leadership teams.

Conduct root cause analysis on test failures and collaborate with teams to recommend improvements in design or operations.

Monitor system behavior during disruption scenarios, highlighting performance bottlenecks and proposing resiliency enhancements.

Mandatory Skills -

5–8 years of experience in software testing, QA, or systems engineering with a focus on resiliency testing.

Strong understanding of system architecture, networking concepts, and database management systems.

Hands-on experience with testing tools such as:

Apache JMeter

Rational Performance Tester

Proficiency in scripting/programming languages:

Python

Java

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with DevOps, engineering, and infrastructure teams.
