Role: Netcool Developer/Lead/ArchitectLocation: Hinjewadi, Pune Role: Netcool Developer Years of Experience: 5 -15 Years Open Position : 7Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Netcool Developer with a strong background in the IBM Netcool Application Suite. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in developing and supporting Netcool solutions, with a focus on integration and architecture. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities Develop and support IBM Netcool applications, including Omnibus, Impact, and WebGUI. Participate in data migration and Netcool upgrade projects. Design and implement Netcool architectures, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Integrate Netcool with third party OSS and BSS components, such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and inventory systems. Utilize Netcool components for database integrations, operator views, and web services. Conduct unit testing and end to end integration testing of developed functionalities. Support deployment processes, including sanity testing and defect resolution. Proactively identify and resolve complex network management issues. Work independently on multiple tasks while demonstrating strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide updates on project status. Mandatory Skills Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience with IBM Netcool Application Suite (Omnibus, Impact, TBSM, WebGUI). Strong understanding of Netcool architecture and experience with Netcool modules. Experience with third party integrations and using Netcool components for various integrations. Proficiency in PERL Scripting and Linux/Unix Shell Scripting and knowledge of databases. Experience in Project Estimation, project technical timeline estimation, and statement of work. Effective Communication skills, particularly in an onsite/customer facing role. Preferred Skills Experience with Data Migration and Netcool upgrades. Knowledge of ECMAScript 6. Familiarity with NOI 1.6. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in IBM Netcool or related technologies are a plus.
