Job Overview:

As a Google Cloud Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines and architectures. Your expertise in GCP services and data engineering best practices will drive innovation and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.


Requirements:


• Mandatory Google Cloud Big Query Scripting Skills or Snowflake AWS or Cloud SQL Knowledge

• Mandatory to have knowledge on any ETL Tool ONLY amongst (Talend, Datastage, Informatica ISS (Cloud version), Data Fusion, Data Flow, Data Proc)

• Mandatory SQL PL/SQL Scripting Experience

• Mandatory Linux/Unix Skills

• Expert in Python, Data Flow, Pubsub, Big Query, CICD

• Must have good Experience/knowledge on GCP components like GCS, BigQuery, AirFlow, Cloud SQL, PubSub/Kafka, DataFlow and Google Cloud SDK

• Understanding of Terraform script, Shell script

• Should have experience on any of the RDBMS

• GCP Data Engineer certifications is an added advantage

• Hadoop knowledge, NiFi/Kafka experience

• Strong Scheduler knowledge - Preferable Control M or 1 mandatory compulsory (UC4 Atomic, Airflow Composer, Control M)

• Must be aware of Agile life cycle

• Changes, Incident and Problem Management

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree preferred

• Minimum 5 years experience
