Job Description :


Key Responsibilities :

Deployment and Integration :

- Lead the deployment and integration of SDM solutions in various environments.

- Ensure proper installation, configuration, and testing of SDM systems.

- Collaborate with network engineers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

System Upgrades :

- Plan and execute upgrades of SDM systems, ensuring minimal disruption to services.

- Perform pre-upgrade testing and post-upgrade validation to ensure system stability and performance.

- Document and communicate upgrade plans, procedures, and outcomes.

Technical Leadership :

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and analysts.

- Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing and best practices.

- Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex technical issues.

System Analysis and Optimization :

- Monitor SDM system performance and conduct regular health checks.

- Analyze system logs and metrics to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

- Implement optimizations and enhancements to improve system efficiency and reliability.

Documentation and Reporting :

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SDM deployments, upgrades, and configurations.

- Prepare and present technical reports and updates to management and stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Collaborate with product management, development, and QA teams to define and prioritize SDM features and improvements.

- Communicate effectively with customers, partners, and vendors to address technical issues and requirements.

- Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.

Required Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience : 5 to 10 years of experience in telecommunications or IT, with a focus on SDM or similar systems.

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of SDM technologies and protocols (e., HLR, HSS, UDM).

- Experience with deployment and upgrade of SDM systems in telecom environments.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl.

- Familiarity with database management systems (e., MySQL, Oracle).

- Understanding of network protocols and services (e., Diameter, LDAP, HTTP/2).

- Experience with virtualization and containerization technologies (e., VMware, Docker).

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and lead technical teams.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and SDN/NFV technologies.

- Certification in relevant SDM technologies or telecom standards.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e., Nagios, Prometheus, ELK stack).

- Familiarity with 5G core network functions and architecture
