Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Creating & manipulating solid modelsExperience with designing weld fixtures and toolingExperience in creating weldment drawingsThorough knowledge of actuators and clamping devicesFamiliar with hydraulic and pneumatic systems design, power packs, NPT standards, hydraulic linesAssist in creating technical documents that will provide engineering requirements for designs and repairs.Interfacing and coordinating with multiple engineering disciplines to promote the exchange of necessary data Technical data review & interpretationTraining/mentoring junior engineers to further grow design teamParticipate in multi-disciplinary meetings and discussions (Design, Structures, Project) Preferred Experience and SkillsMicrosoft officeExperience with 3D CAD software - SolidWorksReading technical printsTechnical writing and documentationStrong communication and collaborationPart stack-up analysis and fit checks Education RequirementsAS or BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology such as:AerospaceMechanicalPower Generation / Power PlantsAutomotive Skills & Experience 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD), Design, Documentations, SolidWorks, Tolerance Analysis, Tolerance Stack Ups
